Terms and Conditions
All bookings are based on the premise you have read, understand and agree to the following:

"You" are the participant "We" are the Real Ha Giang Tours
​
DEPOSIT: An equivalent to 1 million Vietnamese dong has been received per person, this is held in escrow until full payment is received. The deposit can be returned in full or deducted upon full payment (subject to any exchange conversion fees where applicable).
​
PAYMENT: Full payment is required prior to the tour starting.
​
PRICES and payment are in Vietnamese Dong - we do not accept card payments, bank transfers or foreign currencies.
​
CANCELLATION: 7 calendar days prior to the start date, a full refund of the deposit is available. After this no refund is available. You can change the date/details of your booked tour 48 hours prior to the start date, after this your initial booking will be considered a non refundable cancellation.

FORCE MAJEURE: In the event that we cancel the tour due to unforeseen events (natural disasters, acts of war, national strikes etc) or you are genuinely unable to reach Ha Giang under aforementioned reasons. We will fully refund your deposit. Any other consequential costs will be borne by you.
​
INSURANCE: no insurance is offered or implied. Personal liability, travel and health insurance are your responsibility. We accept no responsibility for any loss, damage or injury caused.
​
EQUIPMENT: Any equipment loaned to you is done so in good faith. Helmets, bags, rain covers, any clothing, etc are your responsibility to take care of. Any items returned damaged will be charged at full cost price.
​
TRANSPORTATION: We can arrange transport to and from Ha Giang, however, we are not the transport operators thus any claims arising from such must be taken directly to the transport provider. We will of course assist in any disputes.
​
SELF RIDING: The law requires those self riding in Vietnam to have the necessary licenses to ride legally, this details either a Vietnamese motorbike license, an ASEAN motorbike license or a motorbike license from your home country supported by a 1968 International Driving Permit (hard paper copy only). By booking a self riding tour you confirm you are correctly licensed to ride legally in Vietnam and accept all responsibility and consequences should this not be the case.

ACCIDENTAL DAMAGE: Any damage caused to any rented motorbike is to be paid by you. You accept there is no insurance in Vietnam for motorbikes or damage caused to third party persons/property.

RIGHT OF REFUSAL: We reserve the right to decline our services to anyone without reason or justification. If you have a confirmed booking, we will inform you and fully refund your deposit. This includes after the tour has started. Please note; this is extremely rare, nevertheless we reserve such right.
​
INDEMNIFICATION: You understand and accept this activity involves inherent risks and that you have no grounds to hold "The Real Ha Giang Tours" responsible for any personal or third party claims which may arise from your participation in our tours.
